Orsi PR is once again on the search for smart & savvy interns looking to jump start a career in public relations.
We are seeking eager interns, who have a desire to explore the world of public relations. Must be reliable and have a sincere desire to work and learn. Duties include general filing, research and some calls/pitching. Minimum 10-12 hours per week. M-F 9:00- 5:00.
Interns will work one on one on national clients such as Sanrio and Tommy Bahama. Intern will have full exposure to the entire PR process by learning to create pitches, organize media clips, update media lists and format client reports. Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Vocus (Marketing and PR Software) is a plus.

Interning at Orsi Public Relations has been a great opportunity for me as I prepare to enter the Public Relations field. When I saw that there was an open internship position Fall 2015, I knew I had to apply, and I’m so glad I did. In a short amount of time, I’ve had a first-hand look at what it’s really like to work in PR.
At Orsi, I learned how to build media lists using Vocus, track editorial coverage, compile media research, and contribute to the reports and presentations. Each day I am assigned a variety of different responsibilities and tasks, enabling me to have a wide variety of experiences. I also get the opportunity to draft some pitches and blog posts for different clients. The Orsi Team’s positive feedback definitely helps me to improve my writing skills and develop a unique voice.
The challenges and obstacles I faced at Orsi really have really helped me to develop passion for PR. Orsi has made me feel like I am a part of the team. The skills that I have learned from Orsi will definitely help me realize my dream of becoming a publicist.
Future interns, my advice is to never be afraid to ask questions. Asking questions will help you learn and grow from your mistakes and prevent future ones from happening. Public Relations is all about communication!

In collaboration with Wagstaff Worldwide, Orsi PR has helped usher in the exclusive Gudetama promotion at Plan Check Kitchen + Bar. Sanrio, the global lifestyle brand best known for the pop icon Hello Kitty and the hip L.A. neighborhood restaurant have partnered to create a unique Gudetama inspired menu in honor of the newest – and laziest – member of the Sanrio family.
The promotion has been running since Oct 30, and will continue until Nov 29 in all three Plan Check Kitchen + Bar locations. The specially developed menu (featuring a variety of egg dishes that includes a limited edition Gudetama t-shirt) has been wildly popular among diners, and garnered lots of media attention, including the Los Angeles Times, vice.com, Nerdist.com, NBC Los Angeles, among others.

The spirit of aloha and a relaxed Tommy Bahama vibe come together in the latest Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store, which opened Oct 30 in the heart of Honolulu’s vibrant beach front neighborhood. The three level flagship store has a ground floor retail space, a second story restaurant, and a lively rooftop lounge with a sand patio. This is the eight location in Hawaii including two other Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar &Store sites- The Shops at Mauna Lani and The Shops at Wailea – as well as six additional retail stores.
As the newest addition to Waikiki’s iconic Beachfront Walk, the new store hosted a series of media events and previews, and has garnered lots of attention from press, including Hawaii News Now, KHON News, Modern Luxury Hawaii, and the Honolulu Star Advertiser.
We’re excited to see what’s next for Tommy Bahama Waikiki, and how it is sure to continue to represent the rich customs of the Hawaiian Islands embodied in Tommy Bahama’s trademark style.

We may be in the middle of fall, but Tommy Bahama is looking to spring. Orsi PR teamed up with Tommy Bahama to host a Media Event this past week debuting their men’s and women’s Spring ’16 collection. The intimate preview showcased Tommy Bahama men and women’s sportswear, footwear and accessories in their NYC showroom overlooking Bryant Park.
The showcase was attended by top editors from key fashion publications including Elle, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Vogue.com, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Vogue Japan, and Men’s Fitness; as well as retailers and other fashion notables. Based on the positive feedback and request for samples, we weren’t the only fans of the upcoming collection!
